Class Goals

This introductory course builds on what was taught in The Basics Part I. In the second part of this class, I will teach fundamental techniques through a step-by-step approach to a chipmunk project. The project will cover how to transfer a project onto wood, how to use your nibs to create simple but effective textures such as bark, hair, and shading, how to add depth into your work, and how to seal and protect your final project. Students will begin developing skills in the use of woodburners, nibs, and wood to create desired texture.
